Complete Guide to Renting a Boat in Cambrils

Renting a boat in Cambrils is simpler than you might think. Whether you are an experienced sailor or have never set foot on a vessel, the Costa Dorada has options for everyone. This guide covers everything you need to know before booking: types of boat, what you need, what to bring and how to make the most of your day at sea.

The first decision is choosing between a boat with or without a licence. La Pampa is our no-licence vessel: a 4-metre Bond Yachts 13 with a 15HP engine that any adult can drive after a brief fifteen-minute briefing. It is perfect for groups of up to 5 people who want to explore at their own pace, anchor in coves and enjoy total freedom. El Gaucho, on the other hand, is a 5-metre Quicksilver 505 Commander that you can rent with or without a skipper: you choose whether to take the helm or relax while the expert takes care of everything. Ideal for special occasions, sunsets or when you prefer to completely disconnect.

What to bring? Fuel, insurance, safety equipment and snorkel gear are already included in the rental, so you do not need to worry about the basics. We recommend bringing high-factor sunscreen (the water reflection intensifies UV exposure), a towel per person, snacks and drinks for stops, and water shoes if you are going to snorkel on rocky seabeds. A waterproof pouch for your phone is also a good idea.

Booking is done 100% online on our website in under two minutes: choose your boat, date, time slot and complete payment securely by card. You will receive a confirmation email with the exact meeting point at Cambrils harbour. We recommend booking at least a week in advance during high season (July and August), as weekends fill up quickly. For groups or specific dates, you can also contact us via WhatsApp.
