About this boat
The boat
Bond is our Bond Yachts 13 — 4 metres, Mercury 15 HP engine, no licence required: just bring your ID. Light, manageable and very easy to handle, ideal for a day out with family or friends along the Costa Daurada. Fits 5 with comfortable seating.
Who it's for
The perfect boat if you've never driven one. Its shallow draft lets you slip into small coves the bigger boats can't reach, and it sips so little fuel that the petrol bill is barely noticeable. Bookings only for guests 18+; we walk you through the basics in fifteen minutes and you're off.
Why we have it
We bought her for the days when taking the big boat feels like too much. Sometimes you just want a quick swim, a nearby cove and a couple of beers on deck — no licence, no long briefing, no planning. We once lent her to a couple from Madrid who had never sailed in their lives; they came back four hours later with huge smiles and told us it was the best thing they'd done in years. That's the idea.
A typical day
From Cambrils you've got the good stuff right next door. Ten minutes south are the Regueral and l'Esquirol beaches — drop anchor fifty metres off the sand, open the cooler, that's the day. About 45 minutes of easy cruising gets you to Cala Vidre in Hospitalet de l'Infant: crystal water, pines down to the sea, sandy bottom. If you've still got time, a short loop to the Salou lighthouse to catch the sunset from the water. The Bond likes flat sea and light breeze, so we send you the forecast the day before and, if needed, we'll suggest a different plan.
Handover & briefing
We meet you in Cambrils, hand her over clean and with a full tank. Before casting off we go through the basics, the area, the coves and the day's forecast together — about fifteen minutes of briefing — and you're sailing. You'll come back wanting to do it again.
